天美麻花星空高清mv History and Political Science Department Presents Panel Talk on Recent Russian Invasion of Ukraine

February 28, 2022

天美麻花星空高清mv鈥檚 History and Political Science Department will present a hybrid panel talk on the recent Russian attack on Ukraine at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, in Murdock Hall Room 218 on the 天美麻花星空高清mv campus. This event is free and open to the public and will also be broadcast via Zoom.

The recent attack on Ukraine from Russia has left countries, especially members of NATO, wondering how to respond. While some countries see a militaristic response in the form of troops and aid as a legitimate way to stop Putin鈥檚 claim over Ukraine, others argue diplomacy and heavy sanctions on Russia can end this militarized conflict. This panel of faculty from 天美麻花星空高清mv鈥檚 department of History and Political Science will provide relevant historical and political background to help explain the events while providing important historical context.

Masks are required to be worn on 天美麻花星空高清mv鈥檚 campus. To register for the Zoom event, visit https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_z5vY4HkTSt6o25BTK9OaCw

Panelists include 天美麻花星空高清mv faculty members Dr. Robert Bence, professor emeritus of political science; Dr. David Cupery, associate professor of political science; Dr. Anthony Daly, professor of history; and Dr. Sean Scanlon, assistant professor of history. Dr. Samantha Pettey, associate professor of political science, will act as moderator.
