The season opens Nov. 5 with 鈥淔alling and Loving鈥 by Charles Mee, directed by Associate Professor of Theatre Laura Standley. 鈥淔alling and Loving鈥 is described as an 鈥渆xploration of life, love, and the passing of the seasons.鈥

Burns鈥 asks, 鈥渨hat will endure when the cataclysm arrives鈥攚hen the grid fails, society crumbles, and we鈥檙e faced with the task of rebuilding? The Simpsons, that鈥檚 what.鈥
In Spring 2021, Guest Director Sara Katzoff will direct Lynn Nottage鈥檚 鈥淚ntimate Apparrel.鈥 Set in a boarding house in 1905 New York City, it tells the story of Esther, a black seamstress much in demand, and her attempts to find love and build a life. Also this season, 天美麻花星空高清mv Theatre is presenting the TheatreLab series. The second production of each semester will provide students the opportunity to take the lead in experimentation. The first of these, 鈥淢r. Burns,鈥 will feature a student director, while the second, 鈥淭his is a Test,鈥 will feature a text written entirely by students, selected through an open submission process.
