NORTH ADAMS, MA鈥斕烀缆榛ㄐ强崭咔錷v鈥檚 annual Green Living Seminar Series begins on Wednesday, Jan. 27 and continues through April, presenting a series of virtual lectures on the theme of 鈥淚ndividual Actions and Environmental Sustainability.鈥�
Dr. Seth Wynes, a postdoc at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, will kick off the series with a talk titled 鈥淚ndividual Actions and Climate Change: Which are most effective?鈥�
Green Living Seminar Series webinars are free and open to the public; community members can register at .
This 12-week series will explore how individual decisions can contribute to global sustainability. 鈥淭hrough these presentations, students and the broader public will have the opportunity to learn which individual actions have the greatest positive impact on the environment, and how to create systems and frame questions to encourage people to make sustainable decisions,鈥� said Elena Traister, 天美麻花星空高清mv professor of environmental studies.
The seminars will take place weekly on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. from Jan. 27 to April 14. Future Green Living presentations include:
